FAQs

What experience do I need?

We recruit people with different levels of experience, some may have worked in the care industry for years and others may just be starting out. Either way as long as you reflect our PRIDE – vision & values then we are happy to support you in your career development.

What training and support do you offer?

We think it’s important that our staff feel confident and supported to do their role therefore we offer an extensive 12 week training programme. Check out our training page for more information.

Where are your clients based?

We offer two services the first being live-in care whereby our clients are based in Greater Manchester, Liverpool, Yorkshire and Sheffield. Our domiciliary clients are based in Oldham, Bury, Ashton-Under-Lyne and Rochdale.

Do I have my own room?

If you have applied to be a live-in care worker then you will have your own private room with a single bed, wifi access and somewhere to store your clothes.

What is my working pattern and breaks?

There are various different working patterns available for live in care such as; 1 week on, 1 week off, 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off and so on.

You will also have 14 hours worth of breaks per week.

For domiciliary care you will have an opportunity to have breaks throughout your run. For example, there may be a break between your morning run and your afternoon run. You will be given a rota by your care co-ordinator which will outline this.

What support plans and assessments do you provide?

We provide in-depth support plans and assessments for each client which are regularly updated. We are also on hand if you have any questions.

Do I need a driving licence?

It does help if you are able to drive as it enables you and your client to access the community easily and attend appointments although we have many clients who do not require drivers – so we welcome both drivers and non-drivers.
